Review: Beanies flavoured coffees

Beanies flavoured coffee review

Ever since I started going to my new Slimming World group, I’ve been in love with the range of Beanies flavoured coffees. My consultant has the whole range on offer at meetings and I’ve been working my way through the different flavours.

I’ve also been keeping an eye out in shops for them, so that I could buy some for use at home, but I’ve yet to find any locally.

I finally got around to buying some from the company’s online store last week, and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying a cup of flavoured coffee each morning.

Beanies offers nine flavours of instant coffee: Amaretto Almond, Chocolate Orange, Very Vanilla, Irish Cream, Double Chocolate, Cinder Toffee, Ginger Bread, Hazelnut and Cinnamon Hazelnut.

Three of these (Amaretto, Chocolate Orange and Irish Cream) are available in decaf and the company also offers a variety of filter coffees.

One of the best things about the Beanies instant coffees (besides being delicious and quick to prepare) is that they are just two calories per cup, since there’s no sugar (or guilt!) in them.

While the coffees are delicious on their own, I prefer mine with a bit of milk and sweetener (I use Splenda). I think the sweetness actually helps to bring out the flavours.

I’d have trouble choosing a favourite. The Double Chocolate is gorgeous and it smells wonderful. So are the Amaretto Almond and Irish Cream.

The only one I’m not hugely a fan of is the Vanilla – although a number of people on Instagram and Twitter have told me this is their favourite, so it’s obviously just a matter of taste.

If you’d like to try Beanies for yourself, they should be available at Tesco and Sainsbury’s. Or you can shop online – the website is easy to use and they have a Sash Box, which includes one jar of each flavour.

Have you tried Beanies coffees before? If so, what’s your favourite flavour? If not, which flavour would you like to try? Leave a comment below and tell me!
