The week that was: captured – 5/10/14

TWTWC topper

This week, we had one more day to spend with my mum before she headed home so we headed out to the Natural History Museum. Pumpkin is so close to crawling now, it’s going to happen at any moment. Of course, there was plenty of good snuggle time too!

I’ve also decided to start taking part in the Happy Days linky, which asks me to reflect on what we did over the week and answer a few questions about it… so here goes:

Out and about – As mentioned already, Pumpkin and I went to the Natural History Museum with my mum on Monday. We also had a quick look around the V&A and Harrods, before having dinner at La Tasca.

Thursday was our third Sing & Sign class and she had a great time ‘talking’ to another baby (one would shout or grunt, then the other would).

On Saturday Hubby, baby and I went to Greenwich Market for lunch. I had empanadas and Hubs had a roast beef sandwich. Then we had churros for dessert.

Fun at home – Pumpkin is getting so close to crawling, so we’ve been giving her lots of tummy time to encourage that.

Time for me – I haven’t been very good about me time this week. I have been doing a bit of research into possibly working as a freelance editor and I did have a nice long soak in the tub yesterday though.

My happiest moment – Spending time with my mum. Also, when Hubby and Pumpkin were snuggled up on the sofa together (see image one above) – my heart melted a little bit.

Next week I would like to try – I’m meeting up with an old work friend on Wednesday. If the weather’s good on Friday I might also try going to a local mummy Meetup group.

    • Thanks for the compliment – a nice soak is always good for refreshing. Too bad we don’t have a shower, so it’s my only option!
