This week, we’ve been reading Love from Louisa.
Pumpkin and I have been looking at this book a lot recently. If I give her a stack of books to select from, she always chooses this one.
Love from Louisa is a story about a disgruntled pig who is tired of living on a messy farm.
But, instead of doing anything about it herself, she leaves anonymous notes to the farmer.
I suppose it’s a bit passive aggressive. But, hey. She’s a pig.
My favourite part of the book – and I think Pumpkin’s too – are the illustrations.
The pictures are all really colourful, there are are lots of animals for her to pick out and there’s plenty going on in each picture for us to talk about.
Love from Louisa is written by Simon Puttock and illustrated by Jo Kiddie. It’s published by Harper Collins.
If you’re thinking about buying a copy of the book, please consider using my Amazon affiliate link below – I’ll receive a small commission on the sale.
